We are a privately owned and personally run U.K. company who have been continuously manufacturing hinges and ironmongery in the Cradley Heath area of the West Midlands since 1925 and on our present site in Doulton Road since 1954.
We have been manufacturing Tee Hinges, Hook and Band / Reversible Hinges, Strap Hinges, Butt / Backflap Hinges and all types of Fieldgate Ironwork for over eighty years and have also developed an extensive range of high quality Black Ironmongery Products along with a full range of Hasps and Staples and many other Security Products.
We have also extended our range of products in line with the requests of our customers and in response to market demands to include many products from the Fencing Industry, 'Olde Worlde' types of Black Ironmongery and a full range of Traditional Cast Pulleys. In more recent times, we have further developed our product range to include Chain and associated products, Brass and Aluminium Products along with Trailer Fittings, as well as many new Security Products.
We have now added to our very extensive and comprehensive stocks a complete range of Prepacked Products, which are packed complete with all the necessary fittings on Header Cards and suitable for use on customers own display stands.
Our proud claim is that all items shown in our Price List are always IN STOCK and ready for prompt despatch to our customers, our standard of service being second to none. Following the recent expansion of our premises, including having also purchased the adjoining factory and offices, we now have well over 40,000 sq.feet of warehouse and storage space, as well as extensive manufacturing facilities. We have totally refurbished our Warehouse and installed the latest racking and computerised logistics systems to ensure that our service to customers remains as vital and as important to us as ever, which enables us to keep to our claim of 'having all items always in stock'.
It is our intention to continue our programme of product development and refinement so as to be in a position where we can readily adapt to the many changes continually taking place within the U.K. Ironmongery and Hardware market.
We have also obtained ISO:9001:2000 Accreditation and Quality Assurance, which encompasses all aspects of our business. It involves the active participation and total commitment of all personnel, from the Directors down to the employees in our Works, in the implementation of this Quality Control System and to our on-going commitment in providing quality products at competitive prices to our customers in the most prompt and efficient manner. |
