At last, a gate catch that gives access to the countryside to all gate users.

The Kitch Catch is a unique way of enabling two-way and one-way gates to be easily opened from either side and even more importantly easily closed, by anyone. The Kitch Catch is especially useful for disabled people or people pushing wheelchairs, prams etc. and because the gate only needs a gentle push to close it from either direction, people are more likely to ‘close the gate’ making the countryside a safer place for people to enjoy. The Kitch Catch is particularly suitable for footpaths, parks, playgrounds and gardens and meets all the requirements of the forthcoming legislation relating to the Disability Discrimination Act (D.D.A.), expected to come into force on 1st October 2004.
The Lifter Extension Set converts the Kitch Catch for use on bridle ways, in livery yards, riding schools and those gates that have heavy horse traffic and also where disabled access is required.
